Saline Tattoo Removal
Saline Tattoo Removal is a gentle and effective technique designed to eliminate unwanted tattoos, including semi-permanent cosmetic tattoos like eyebrow makeup. This method utilizes a natural osmotic process with a high-salt, fruit seed extract solution that is applied to the skin using either a tattoo machine or manual tool. The saline solution breaks down the tattoo pigments, allowing the body to expel them gradually.
Unlike laser treatments, saline tattoo removal is suitable for all skin types and colors; and is especially useful for sensitive areas such as the face. The procedure generally requires several sessions, depending on the tattoo's size and depth. Saline removal can significantly lighten or fade a tattoo, but it may not always completely remove it. Multiple sessions are often required, and while many clients achieve satisfactory results, complete removal might not always be possible. It’s important to set realistic expectations and discuss your specific case with a professional to understand the likely outcome.
Emergency removal must be performed within the first 24 hours after the procedure. If more than 24 hours have passed, you'll need to wait at least one month before undergoing removal.
For tattoos that are at least one month old, saline removal can be done. Depending on the size and depth of the tattoo, the number of sessions required may range from 3 to 5, with each session typically spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart. After the procedure is completed, you need to wait 6 to 8 weeks to get any new procedure.
